Gaugemaster Track Cleaner

“I am trying wire a double gaugemaster OO track cleaner. Do I wire it directly to the track or not? Someone please help me.”

Yes the track cleaner goes between the track supply and the track.
The wiring information is at http://www.gaugemaster.com/instructions/hf1.pdf.
You will also need a 16v AC power supply.
I have used this unit on a Z gauge analogue (ie DC) layout.
However, if the locomotive has lights the track cleaning does not work but the locomotives will run.
I do not know about DCC but I would guess that it would not work but would damage the equipment.
