Pantographs Not Working
Jack from Canada asks readers:
“Where can I buy working N scale pantographs? I have a GG-1 Kato locomotive but the pantographs keep falling down, no mechanism (springs?) to keep them up. They do not have to supply the current to the motor, that stays on the tracks but it looks dumb to have an electric locomotive without a working pantograph. The Japanese pantographs have no springs in them either and are no help. Please advise.

I have seen pantographs on feebay recently you might check there.
Try looking at the marklin trains the pantographs actually work.
Try Sommerfeldt in Germany. They have almost all kind of pantographs and all of them work as real.
http://www.sommerfeldt.de. Try Barbara Sommerfeldt. They are very professional and the answer is quickly.
Cheers,
Alvaro
I found the Sommerfeldt line under EUROLOK.COM. ( http://www.tee-usa.com) and ordered from them. The pantographs are on their way, very fast service and reasonable prices on all European equipment. Thanks very much for the info. Jack.
