Rewiring Tyco Chattanooga Tender

Lou asks readers:

“Does anyone out there have the correct info or know where to get a diagram to wire the HO Tyco Chattanooga Tender from the motor to the engine? I disconnected the wires and left the project sit for a month. I can not remember what went to what. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.”

Have you tried to contact Tyco, sometimes the manufacturer can sent you break down diagrams and schematics,
before pulling any loco apart it pays to take a couple of photos so as to help in re-assembly if the project ends up sitting for some time.
I hope that this might be of some assistance

Tyco is long gone. There’s no “there” there to contact in the model business, anyway.
The best source for assembly diagrams and the like is hoseeker.org, but this isn’t listed there.
See the above video – I think it does what you are looking for. K

Usualy a wiring diagram is enclosed in the box for new locos to cure this very problem. Contact Tyco if you never got it. The English are great ones for swapping tenders and locos so I’d start there if Tyco can’t help.
