“I am preparing to use DCC in my N scale setup. Does using DCC change the requirements for using turns and loops in the track?”

I’m guessing you are referring to turning loops where there had to be special wiring for DC operation. For DCC you can buy auto reversing circuits to wire these sections up. This makes operation over these sections just as uneventful as running on any other section of track.
