“Does anyone know the difference between Roller Bearing Trucks and Barber Roller Bearing Trucks?”

  • Hervey says:

    Barry,
Barber roller bearing trucks are one type of roller bearing truck. Commonly used on freight cars.

  • David Stokes says:

I think Barber is just a trade name for a company with a good PR department.

  • Randall Wood says:

I just found this question today, but have figured out the difference for the Micro Trains trucks: The Micro Trains 1035-10 Barber Roller Bearing Trucks have 3 springs and model a 100 ton rated truck, while the 1030-10 Roller Bearing Trucks have 2 springs and model a 70 ton rated truck.
