Making A Curved Backdrop

“My space allows for a curved backdrop which I will paint with the sky, clouds, and some foliage. I will also put some greenery directly in front to hide the vertical to horizontal join. I thought of using a heavy-duty bendable cardstock to avoid having joins showing, and it would need to be about 3ft high. Does anyone know where I can get a big roll of suitable cardstock, or would it be better to use a different material?”

Depending on how tight the curve is you could use thin MDF Making joints invisible is not too had if you scarf the joints and fill with joint co pound or painters caulk and smooth. If the or e isn’t to tight Formica bends nicely and you can get long lengths
Hardboard or thin plywoods are possibilities. Also, probably from craft and hobby stores:

I am using MDF 3mm, however I’m not having much luck getting 450mm (18″) wide sheets to behave,. I saw a Youtube video yesterday which recommends hardboard (Masonite). The deal is you spray it with original formula Windex which softens to glue holding the Masonite together, but once bent to shape, the Windex evaporates and the Masonite stays to the shape required.
