Isolated Fast Track Section
Philip is hoping an experienced Model Railroader can help him and asks:
“How do I create an isolated fast track section? I can’t figure out how to block the power transmission through the middle track section. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.”

Hi Philip, To isolate any section of track or siding you have to use (insulated track joiners)on both rails. In your case you may want to use 2 separate transformes (power packs) one to feed your normal line and one to feed your fast track. Of course separate feed wires will be needed for each section and or sidings that you wish to cut power to while still feeding another section or in your case having one train going slow while the other is speeding thru its course.
