HO Scale Roadbed Adhesives
Ed seeks advice from others in the hobby and asks:
“I am using the foam method for my base. What is the best glue to hold down the cork roadbed on the foam backing and what about removal for changes later?”

I have done the same thing I used foam then I just used white glue to hold down my Clark roadbed and I used track nails to hold it in place and I even did the same for holding down my rail to the roadbed. It holds it very secure and a dream if you need to pull it up for further enhancements.
Ed, I’m just getting started in building my layout. I’m using both Bachmann EZ-Track some old Tyco rail with cork roadbed Two sided carpet tape is working out just fine for me. I’ve been able to pull the track off in the few cases I’ve need to re-adjust track location. What I really like is I can put the tape directly in the foam, wood or Woodland Scenics riser and incline system and the tape is holing the track to all of it. I also used the tape to hold the risers and inclines to the foam. Hope this helps.
