Coffee Table Layout Under Construction

Gloria sent in these photos of her layout to share:

“Thank you for all the video’s and tips to you have sent me during the past year they have been very useful. I am sending you 2 photo’s of our unfinished coffee tab layout, as the moment we have not chosen a name for it. As its all based on ex GWR rolling stock and loco’s with the odd LMS locos. We have just called it a coffee table layout.”

Very nice layout. Looks like it is coming right along!

    • Gloria says:

      Hi Monty,

Thank you ever so much for your reply, there will be more and far better photo’s that I will ask Robert to put up for me.

Yes it is but there is a long long way to go. As there is so much detail need adding to it. As being an ex G.W.R employee I like a lot of detail.

  • Jim S says:

Clever idea. Nice work. How big is the coffee table? I might use this idea.

    • Gloria says:

      Hi Jim,

It is 6ft x 2ft which my clever partner built for me, it was suppose to be a small table top one, but with the amount of track and rolling stock it turned out the size mentioned. It has a slide out control panel and by the way its all DCC fitted, with a reverse loop.

    • Gloria says:

      Hi Jim,
Thank you for your kind comments regarding the layout, it is 6ft x 2ft.All DCC fitted with a control panel which there will be more photo’s and possibly a video of a cab ride it is all in N Gauge.

The “CTL & UG Rail Road” (Coffee Table Layout & Under Glass).

  • Gloria says:

    Hi Dan,

Ours is covered in 13mm toughened glass when we are not working on it.

  • Gloria says:

    Hi Monty,
Am putting a couple of photo’s of the control panel, which is still under construction.
